He founded Rush Creek on the core principles of transparency, sound deal structuring, and a risk-mitigated investment philosophy centered on the redevelopment of proven oil fields that no longer align with the scale or return requirements of larger publicly traded companies. This strategic focus enables Rush Creek to unlock value from underdeveloped or overlooked legacy assets through operational efficiency and prudent capital deployment.

Under Alan’s leadership, Rush Creek has successfully syndicated more than 30 joint venture offerings and assembled a robust portfolio comprising over 200 producing wells and 5,000 acres across legacy basins in Texas and Oklahoma. Through periods of significant market disruption, including the 2014 oil price collapse and the 2020 global pandemic, Alan effectively navigated the company to growth and stability by implementing a vertically integrated operational model. This integration has driven Rush Creek’s average lifting costs to below $10 per barrel, positioning the company among the most efficient operators in its peer group.

As Managing Partner of Rush Creek Operating, Alan is responsible for overseeing the company’s exploration portfolio, production operations, and overall field performance.
